I'm cheap and easy, can someone help?

Cheap and easy is referring to food, not me personally. I’m a lacto-ovo vegetarian who has been getting rather bored with recipes that either have 25 (mostly hard to find) ingredients or take way too long to make.

I’m looking for cheese-less suggestions (I’ve been trying to not eat too much dairy,) avocados I don’t like, and pineapple is out since it gives me hives. I’m just in a rut and need some new ideas for someone who doesn’t have a huge budget.

What kind of homemade sauces do you add to meals to liven things up?

Any time saving tips as well?

(Any meat answers will be ignored. You’ll only succeed in looking like a moron.)

Anyone know the recipe for the Avocado & Cucumber salad found in Sushi restaurants?

I’ve looked all over. If I can’t find the recipe for this wonderful dish, I guess I’ll wind up stopping off and buying this salad from the restaurant.

Please help!

Incorporate in a recipe? Please read?

Hello All! I am incredibly hungry, and somewhat on a diet. I know the ingredients i would like to use in the dish, just not what to do with them.. I would like to use, boneless skinless chicken breasts, bell peppers and onions, avocado, cilantro, cheese, etc ( i am open to more, of course). It seems that fajitas or skewers would be the easiest option, but i want to see if anyone else has any amazing ideas/links.. Thanks so much for the help! : )
